Post-Hotel Würzburg

„... embedded within the valley the city presents itself like an earthly paradise: a rose surrounded by green leaves.“ This definition for the city below the castle Marienberg was stated by the poet Gottfried von Viterbo already in the 12th century. During all the past centuries Wuerzburg has not lost its charme and attraction described at that time. In the contrary - countless numbers of poets and philosophers, artists and prominent travellers from many countries have until today described Wuerzburg as one of the most beautiful cities of Germany. So it is no surprise that just the Post-Hotel Wuerzburg was integrated as one of the first REMA partner hotels into the corporation.

Gottfried von Viterbo possibly arrived at that time still by stage coach, when he defined his classification about this city. Today only the classical post horn still reminds of the former post station in the inscription and the stage coach on the sign above the hotel advertising. Certainly however the demand for Franconian hospitality at that time was probably not less than in our present time. The hotelier Harald von Evert orientates himself by the traditions, their origin to be found in periods of time when every guest was still a king. Unpossible? Not for Harald van Evert. „With a personally managed hotel such as the Post-Hotel I feel better prepared for the future than ever. Our guests experience a service in our house which is personally formed by our staff. This way we have a decisive advantage compared to large group hotels.“

Traditional hospitality

For a hotelier with clear objectives like Harald van Evert it is also no question that the future will only be secured with the aid of a linking to a partner. Only in connection with this partner he can enjoy advantages which he will not achieve as individual hotelier. „For me the REMA Cooperation is the ideal partner, because REMA-HOTELS of all cooperations correspond the most to the character of my house as personally and individually managed hotel enterprise.“

Motivation is a major aspect of our house

Individuality, a trade-mark of the REMA-HOTELS, is also a major aspect of the Post-Hotel Wuerzburg. Harald van Evert and his wife Karola manage a staff team which show their personal motivation by the family of the hoteliers when you look them in the eyes. Where it is a pleasure to be a guest ... It is also obvious that the Post-Hotel has a good name as family and children-friendly hotel. The three children of the van Everts are also a good demonstration for this. The Post-Hotel cannot complain for having not prominent visitors. From Christiane Herzog within the scope of her work for Mukoviscidosis to TIC-TAC-TOE and steady galery exhibitions for young artists - a few examples from these days show how well known these events are beyond the region of Wuerzburg. The federal post minister Wolfgang Bötsch has of course also a very special relation to our house. When the new conference center was opened, he came however unfortunately not in a stage coach.
